This hike takes us along the last strech of this millenary trail, walking along untouched and beautiful tropical cloud forest laden with bromeliads, colorful and delicate orchids, pass the gorgeous site of Wiñayhuayna and finally enjoy the mystery of Machupicchu as you visualize it for the first time from the Sun Gate.
Program itinerary
Day 1: Cusco-Machupicchu
Early departure from hotel to train station, enjoy an scenic ride towards the Km104 Chachabamaba, along the gorgeous Urubamba valley and canyon, where we descend from train to start a steady climb for about 3 hours to the pretty site of Wiñayhuayna.Box lunch.As we continue for another 2 more hours in an easy trail, enjoy the amazing mountain views, reaching the Sun Gate by middle afternoon.On arrival bus ride to the village of Aguas Calientes for overnight.(Box-Lunch)

Day 2: Machupicchu-Cusco
Early morning breakfast, Machupicchu is a great place of spirituality, today you are challenge to get the first bus up to the site for sunrise and a guided tour, enjoy this fascinating and mysterious site with your guide as you walk through this ancient citadel, rest of morning time for personal exploration.Lunch.Middle afternoon train back to Cusco.On arrival transfer to your hotel.(B, L)
